Shipping policy

We ship across the United States and Canada. Shipping is free on every order — no minimum, no surprise fees at the door. Here's exactly what to expect.

Order processing. We process orders within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays start the next business day. You'll get a confirmation email when you order, and a separate email with a tracking link the moment your order ships.

Shipping cost. Free, on every order, to every address we serve. There's no spending minimum, no handling fee, and nothing added at checkout or on delivery.

How your order ships. Orders ship from our U.S. fulfillment center by USPS or UPS. Your tins, your steeper, and anything else in the order ship together in one package.

United States — delivery times. Most U.S. orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days after they ship. No import duties apply.

Canada — delivery times and duties. Canadian orders ship from the U.S. with all duties and taxes prepaid by us (DDP). There is nothing to pay on delivery — no customs invoice, no broker fee, no surprise charge at your door. Most Canadian orders arrive within 7 to 16 business days after they ship.

Tracking your order. When your order ships, we email you a tracking link. You can follow it from there. If the tracking page hasn't updated in a few days, that's usually a carrier scan gap, not a lost package — but if it worries you, email support@huigantea.com, and we'll look into it.

Where we ship. Street addresses and PO boxes in the United States and Canada. We don't ship outside these two countries yet.

Address accuracy. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can't reroute a package once it's with the carrier, and we're not able to recover orders sent to an address that was entered incorrectly.

Delivery estimates are estimates. The times above are typical, not guaranteed. Carriers, weather, peak seasons, and customs can all cause delays we don't control. We won't leave you stuck when they do — see the next three sections.

Lost or stuck in transit. If your tracking stalls for several days or your order doesn't arrive in the expected window, email support@huigantea.com. If a package is lost in transit before it's delivered, we file the carrier claim ourselves and reship or refund your order. You don't chase the carrier — we do.

Marked delivered but not received. If tracking shows your order was delivered and you don't have it, check around your door, with your household, and with neighbors first — most "missing" packages turn up within a day. If it's still gone, email us within 7 days of the delivery date, and we'll help you investigate and file a claim. Once a package is scanned and delivered to the address you gave us, we can't guarantee a refund for theft after delivery, but we'll work with you to make it right where we can.

Returned, refused, or undeliverable packages. If a package comes back to us — wrong address, repeated missed deliveries, or refused at the door — we'll email you. We'll reship it once you confirm the correct address; reshipping in that case may be at your cost. If you'd rather not have it reshipped, we'll refund the order minus any shipping we paid to send it.

Damaged in transit. Check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, email support@huigantea.com within 14 days with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or a refund — your call — and you won't pay anything to return the damaged item. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.

Harvest availability, pre-orders, and backorders. Our teas are released by harvest in limited lots, so a tea can sell out before the next harvest. If a tea is on pre-order or backordered, we show the expected ship date on its product page and email you when it ships. If one order contains a pre-order tea plus in-stock items, we ship the whole order together once the pre-order tea is ready — or, if you'd rather not wait, email us, and we'll split it and send the in-stock items first.

Changes or cancellations. We process orders quickly, so we may not be able to change or cancel one after it's placed. If you need to, email support@huigantea.com as soon as you can, and we'll do whatever we can before it ships.
