Return and Refund Policy
We stand behind every harvest. If the tea isn't for you, we make it right — and we carry the risk, not you. Here's exactly how it works.
First-Cup Guarantee (First order). Brew your first cup with the protocol card in the box (and the gravity steeper, if you added one). If that cup doesn't replace your morning coffee, we refund your first order in full — and you keep the tin and the steeper. Email support@huigantea.com within 30 days of delivery. No form, nothing to ship back, no one asking you to reconsider. This applies to your first order; every order is also covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee below.
30-day money-back guarantee on tea. Not satisfied with any tea order, for any reason, within 30 days of delivery? We refund you in full. Tea is something you drink, so there's nothing to ship back — keep the tin. Just email support@huigantea.com.
Teaware returns (gaiwan, steeper, accessories). Teaware is durable, so it follows standard return rules:
- It must be unused and in its original condition and packaging.
- You'll need your order number or proof of purchase.
- Email support@huigantea.com first to start the return. We'll send a prepaid return label and tell you where to send it.
- We can't accept teaware sent back without starting a return first, teaware that arrives used or damaged through use, or returns requested after 30 days.
Damaged, defective, or wrong item. Check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email support@huigantea.com within 14 days with your order number and a photo. We make it right — replacement or refund, your call — and you don't pay any return shipping.
What we can't take back. Opened or used teaware. Items returned without starting a return first. Anything outside the 30-day window. Gift cards and final-sale items, if we offer them. (Opened tea isn't shipped back — it's covered by the refund terms above instead.)
Exchanges. The fastest way to swap is to return the original — once the return is accepted — and place a new order for what you want.
Refunds. For tea, we send the refund to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days; no return inspection needed. For teaware, we refund within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the return. Your bank or card company may take a few more days to post it. If it's been more than 15 business days since we approved your refund and you still don't see it, email support@huigantea.com.
